Concealment Purses
You’re chic, stylish, and put together. You love being on top of the trends, or at least put some effort into your outfits—including accessories, of course. You also pack heat.
While holsters can look pretty hot strapped around on-duty cops, it’s understandable that one might not want to slip into something so restrictive, uncomfortable, obvious, and unfashionable. Caring about your personal safety shouldn’t have to be unglamorous, and there are plenty of hanbag options on the market now that allow you to carry your handgun with style; they’re called “concealment purses.”
The leading brands of handgun handbags are Coronado Leather and Galco. Their lines offer a great deal of options in different sizes, styles, and materials—just like the handbag section at a department store, but these purses have a little something extra! Specializing in concealment accessories and outerwear, Coronado Leather has a very cowgirl-like aesthetic, but also produces pieces that are a bit more modern, sleek, and simple. A standout piece is the envelope-looking small handbag that would look great for a night out on the town or dressed down and slung across your body; complete with a concealed compartment for your handgun, of course—no one would ever suspect. Another great find from Galco is the “Wisteria” handbag, a casual, everyday pocketbook made from premium center cut steerhide with two main compartments for your goods and a self-contained, side-entry, holster compartment. The 70’s-inspired Wisteria bag would look great with wide-leg jeans and some bangin’ wedges (pun intended).
